The Texas WildCatters of the ECHL released Chad Costello on April 2. Costello only played in two games for the WildCatters, collecting no points.
Also of note, the CHL season for the Youngstown SteelHounds has come to a close, Russo closed the season with three games, netting one goal, and a +1 ranking on the year.

Russo Signs Into CHL
Jimmy Russo has signed with the Youngstown SteelHounds of the CHL.
From the SteelHounds- "YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO – Youngstown SteelHounds Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kaminski announced today that the team has signed forward Jimmy Russo to an amateur tryout.
Russo, 23, comes to Youngstown after finishing his four year career at Northeastern University where he was teammates with current SteelHound Steve Birnstill. The 6-0, 175-pound forward scored seven goals and six assists in 30 games this season for the Huskies. The South Weymouth, Massachusetts native accumulated 20 goals, 53 assists and 106 penalty minutes in 124 games during his college career."
Youngstown is currently in the playoffs and Russo helped their cause scoring a goal last night.
